Coco learns "Bang!"

Mummy and I were about to leave the house for walkies when the delivery man ding-donged the doorbell.   The parcel was mummy’s new digital camera.  She immediately opened the parcel, put the battery in and put the camera in her pocket.

Hmmm...I thought it was a Christmas present from daddy.  You should wait until Christmas, shouldn’t you, mummy?

On our way to the park we knocked Lady I’s door to give her a Christmas card which daddy had made using a photo of me wearing a Santa hat.

She invited us inside and I had a very cosy chat with her.  After a while mummy told me that we had to go.  I refused but mummy was strong.  Outside, mummy pulled me a bit but I tried to go back to Lady I’s, and in the end mummy carried me to the park.  I wish I was as huge as Saint Bernard.

In the park I met wild Daisy the poodle.  She was jumping around me as usual and poked my bottom! 

I was cross a bit, but then mummy took out her gorgeous new camera so I posed for her.  Guess what!!  Silly mummy put the battery in it but she didn’t think of a memory card.  How could she do that?

Mummy and I discussed which trick I could learn.  Not so difficult but not so boring...how about “Bang!!”

It was not very difficult for me and mummy was very pleased.  She even sent a text to daddy to tell how good I was.  Seriously, mummy and daddy, I am not a daft doggy.  It is all about how mummy and daddy train me.  Don’t forget about that, please.

The day I met KNIGHTs shelties

The Christmas party was cancelled so I thought I would have a boring Sunday.  Yesterday, I was home alone and today I didn’t have any plans.  How boring my life was...I was almost depressed.

However, I got an e-mail from KNIGHTs shelties and they invited me to join their daily walkies to the Common. Yippie!!

The Common was huge and there was still a bit of snow left. The 6 KNIGHTs shelties were very active and I was a bit shy at first but gradually I started enjoying being amongst them. 

The KNIGHTs shelties have a very interesting blog and I like reading about their every day life, and I always wanted to join their activities so I was over the moon when I got the e-mail.  You know, to be honest, I was too excited to sleep last night.

One thing I really wanted to do was having my photo taken with them.  On their blog they have lovely photos of them all sitting in a line.  I have always wanted to be in one of those photos.

Thanks to their mummy, daddy and KNIGHTs shelties, my dream came true and I sat with them and had my photo taken. Can I be in the middle next time?

Since I was a little girl I have always been on my own but spending time with other doggies was very enjoyable and I liked it.

I looked after the house yesterday very well and today I spent time with them, and now I feel very good and hmmm...how should I put this?

Yes, I feel I am a proper grown-up girl.

Home alone

Mummy and daddy have gone shopping to Staines today so I have to look after the house.  I don’t mind it really because I am in charge of everything while they are out.  I feel like a proper grown-up.

Staines...I wonder if they will have lunch at Costa coffee.  When the weather was warmer I went to Staines with mummy and daddy often and we had tea at Costa coffee.  I liked that because I could see lots of people walking around and sometimes people admired me.  And also I could have my doggie snack there.

Anyway, I was bored so I decided to do some Facebook and blogging.

I was doing this and that and what do you think I found!!  Woof!! My photos on 4leggedlondon webpage!! I am their “Miss December” and they also put the photos of me and the bag of swag I won!!

You know, the bag of swag I got when my daddy’s photo of me won their competition in November. 

 

I must tell mummy and daddy about this.  I wonder when will they come back???

Mummy's noisy Christmas decoration

Today mummy put the Christmas decorations up.  Mummy has some strange decorations too.  One of them makes a noise!! I don’t like it really because it is quite high pitched (I’ll show you the videos).

I feel a bit blue today because the Christmas party which I was really looking forward to was cancelled because of the wearther.  Mummy and daddy made a very pretty costume for me.  You know what?  The costume is really special.  I mean “Really”. 

There is no way for me to waste this terrific costume so I will wear it on the Christmas day at my nanny Joan’s and ask daddy to take many photos of me and put them on my blog to show as many people as possible.

Hmmm...thinking of the costume makes me feel a bit better.  Why don’t I dress up to cheer me up . When you feel down you should wear brighter colours shouldn’t you?  Pink.  People say “pink” is my colour and I like pink.  Yes, I should wear something pink. Hmmm...I already feel a little bit better.

The snow finally came.

I played in the garden this morning.  Playing in the snow was really fun!!  But there wasn’t much snow so I didn’t get snowballs.

 

 

 

やっと雪が積もった！

On our way to the park we had to be careful because some parts of the road were very slippery. Mummy wore a pair of wellies with doggie patterns on them but I was bare pawed so mummy sometimes worried about me.  But once we got in the park I didn’t care about my bare paws.  I saw ducks by the river so I barked and ran!!  They quickly escaped and jumped in the river.  I chased them to the river but then I stopped because mummy called out my name and I realised it was too cold to jump in the water.  Besides I just had my hair grooming on Saturday didn’t I?

In the afternoon, I decided to do some blogging.  I found lots of my blog friends were enjoying the snow and all that.  And also I saw a marvellous looking pillow on Eva’s blog.  She looked very comfortable on it.  Daddy, can you get a pillow like that for me?  Is it a pillow, anyway?

It's woofully cold

It is bloody cold isn’t it?  We went to the park and on our way back mummy was really freezing.  She was cheerful in the park, though.

When I got in the park gate I saw a lady who looked gentle and friendly so tried to chat her up but she only stroked me and kept walking.  In this cold weather everyone looks in a hurry.

I met lots of my friends in the park.  I hadn’t met them for a long time because of my leg so I was very happy today.  This cold weather is sort of my favourite so I enjoyed the bitterly cold wind too, and even posed for mummy on the small bridge.  Mummy wanted to keep walking though.
