Mummy told me that daddy had made an appointment for the dentist. It is good thing to do, daddy. I wonder why daddy behaves like a little puppy when he always tells me to be brave when I go to the vets.
After today’s obedience training session, we spent a bit of time in the garden. I didn’t really understand but mummy was all excited about new shoots coming out. Mummy explained about tulips and all that but they all looked like short thick weeds to me.
I thought doing something to show I was interested in gardening would make mummy happy so I took a bite out of the pansies and mummy said “Coco, NO!!” What did I do wrong?
Anyway, when I am in the garden I prefer to look at the birds and smell the lovely fresh air.
I walked with mummy around the block and when we were walking towards our house I saw a lady in a red coat. The read coat!! And that beautiful grey hair!! And and that brisk walk!!
Yes! It was my beloved "Lady I".
I wanted to see her. I really missed her. About 2 weeks ago I saw her in the park and I expressed my joy with my whole body and I hurt my leg again. But today I was on the lead so I couldn’t be that wild.
Do you know? She is very gentle and ohhhh, I don’t know how I should put this...hmmm, I just love her. I felt as if I was melting.
I cuddled her, kissed her, poked my head in her bag and everything. "Lady I" was laughing and said I was funny but I was deadly serious. I love her!! I didn’t want to let her go but "Lady I" had to go so I saw her off. She promised to see me soon and also said one day she would look after me for a day. I would love that. A whole day with my beloved "Lady I". LOVELY!!
I have been fed up with this short walk lark but today was not all bad, was it?
I love that contented look on Coco's face when "Lady I" was petting her.
ReplyDeleteI really love "Lady I". Maybe it's more than "love".
ReplyDeleteCoco you are adorable. I'm Noah, an Aussie and a new follower of yours. I look forward to learning more about you and your life.
ReplyDeleteHello Noah, thank you for following. I'm following you too.
ReplyDeleteLove Coco
Hi Coco, Nice to meet you. Do you know I went to a wedding once, and in the salad were flowers that looked just like pansies, and we were supposed to eat them! Maybe you should tell your mum to give them a try?
ReplyDeleteYou are a gorgeous sheltie, no wonder why Lady I loves to cuddle with you.
Nice to meet you too Sara I'll tell her to try the Pansies, Tulips & everything. It won't make her ill will it ?
ReplyDeleteHi Coco, I wonder why you don't see my comments in your blog so I am trying again. I like your pretty neighbor too. We ran into our neighbor today while we were walking. So our walk didn't take very long as mom and dad stood there talking and talking.
ReplyDeleteHi Coco, I like the picture of you and Lady I. It's so sweet of two of you. You're such a sweetie and everyone loves you too!
ReplyDeleteHello Donna, Thank you for commenting.
ReplyDeleteMy mummy is the same. When she meets our neighbour she stops and chats as well so sometimes I have to bark to stop her chatting.
Hello Priscilla, Thank you for commenting.
ReplyDeleteLady I is a really sweetie too and I just feel warm when I see her.
no walk for me today... (shelly silhouette) because it's raining. so i just ran around outside and barked at the creek.
ReplyDeleteHello Donna, It is foggy and dump here. When you have to spend lots of time inside why don't you try dressing you up to cheer you up?
