Little accident

When mummy went out shopping this morning she left Silky with me without putting her inside the baby gate.  Silky doesn’t like being left so when mummy peeped from the letter box Silky tried to get mummy by clinging to the letter cage.  Grow up, Silky...

As for me, I was lying quietly on mummy’s slippers behind Silky, although you cannot see me in the photo because of her fluffy head.
We hadn’t been to the park for 2 days.  Mummy wasn’t sure if I would walk to the park because I had had a bit of  an upset tummy.  I stopped and sat down a few times but after that I walked properly.  I did a few pee pee but no poo poo.  Maybe my tummy is getting better.  Since I was a little puppy girl, whenever I get a bit of mess on my skirt mummy always washes my bottom, but it is very uncomfortable to get a messy skirt.  I hope my tummy get better soon.

In the park we met Mr Poppy 2 and while we were chatting he gave Poppy (Husky) lots of yummy biscuits.  Mummy put the lead on me because I shouldn’t have anything.  Silky got a tiny biscuit but she wanted more so sat down for Mr Poppy 2 looking up and saying “Please...”.  However he knew he shouldn’t so he tactfully ignored Silky.  Every time Poppy got a biscuit Silky followed her to get something but her efforts were in vain.  Silky got irritated and dug the ground passionately.

After we separated from Mr Poppy 2 mummy tried to take a photo of us.  Mummy told us to sit down and “Smile!!”.  We are not that easy mummy.  We know you have some yummies in your pocket.  Give us something or you will get our very grumpy faces.

Well well, daddy.  We had a small accident in the house today.  Who do you think the clumsy one was?

Vets today

When I got to the vet this morning everyone was very kind and gentle to me and I liked them.  I even didn’t notice when mummy and daddy left me.  I was wondering what we were going to do together.  Are we going to go to Runnymede park?  Or Windsor park?  But since I am at the vet now I want them to do something about my ingrowing eyelashes first because it irritates my eyes a lot recently.  One nurse was talking to me and then I started to feel sleepy...sleepy...sleepy...Zzzz...

I don’t know how long I had been sleeping.  I am still at the vet aren’t I?  I feel still dizzy...
When I finished my room service breakfast, my favourite vet “Andy” came and took me to his consulting room.  Woof!!  Mummy and daddy, and even Silky were there!!  What happened?
Silky said that she had come by train with mummy because she had her eyes checked too. Her eyes are good now although she still needs to use her eyedrops.

I was too sleepy to listen to what they were talking about my eyes but it seemed that I could go home with everyone.  I was very sleepy when daddy was paying so I whimped very nicely to say "I want to go home daddy". I was very contented when I got in the car to go home.  When we got home daddy went back to work and mummy called me to come to the kitchen.
I looked at mummy...Hmmm?  Strange.  Mummy is swinging right to left...right to left.  Stop it, mummy!! You make me feel dizzy!!

But mummy said it was me who was swinging.  Mummy put me in my pink bed and immediately I fell asleep, like sleeping beauty.

Silky got a new harness.  Her pink collar was getting small for her so  mummy and Silky popped in the pet shop around the corner during their walkies.  She looks smart in her new red harness doesn’t she?  Silky said that she tried it on on the counter but she looked terrified so the man in the pet shop said “Don’t worry, this is not the vet”.  I always liked sitting on that counter in the pet shop when I was a little puppy girl because they gave me yummy treats and stroked me a lot.  Silky said she wasn’t comfortable because she didn’t feel safe there but still she had two big biscuits.

Modelling Sunday

Mummy got me a gorgeous pink kimono which my Japanese nanny Masae made for me and a black Japanese writing t-shirt which is identical to daddy’s for Silky.  I had been waiting for days to wear this kimono.  Once or twice I tried it on and every time mummy screamed “How cute you are!!”.  Then when are they going to do photo shooting?

Finally it happened today!!  When I wore the kimono and put the pink ribbon in my hair daddy appeared with his big posh camera.  Woof!!  It is not with mummy’s small compact digital camera but daddy’s big man’s camera!!  I posed and smiled at the camera as proper super models do.  How do I look, daddy?
Daddy took many photos of me from various direction, and then it was Silky’s turn.

She looks quite pretty in the black t-shirt doesn’t she?  The Japanese writing on her back says “Meccha Sukiyanen”, which means “ I like it very much” .  Mummy said that when you go to Osaka next time just try this phrase when you see something you love.  People will be happy and they will like you.
Hmmm...Silky and daddy look cosy don’t they wearing the same t-shirt.  Why don’t you wear your kimono pyjamas daddy?  And we can take lovely cosy photo together can’t we?

After this photo shooting we went to the park.  When we got oou the car daddy appeared with his big posh man’s camera again.  We played with our Frisbee and the ball as usual, and also we chased pigeons.  When we came across the pretty daffodil area we did some modelling for daddy.  Sometimes daddy wanted to take a photo of Silky herself but she still doesn’t know about the essence of  modelling so I showed her some examples.  Modelling needs quite a good amount of experience, you know.

Daddy, I know how to pose but if you flirted a bit like professional photographers Silky and I might be able to put  a more radiant smile on our faces.  Like “Ooooh, yes, good wonderful!!  Very sexy. Wow, you are gorgeous! beautiful!  lovely! blah, blah, blah...”  They say something like this don’t they?

Scary doggies.

Mr.Rose

In the park we met Mr Poppy 2 and he stroked me a lot.  Mummy was talking about my behaviour because I had snapped at a Westie earlier. Mr Poppy 2 said his Poppy didn’t like some doggies either.  I don’t mind Poppy though.  She is a young Husky but I’ve never felt like snapping at her, except only once when she suddenly punched into my nose.

After we said bye-bye to Mr Poppy 2, we met Mr Rose.  He said that he had found a doggie name tag yesterday.  He phoned the number on it and a woman answered saying that her doggie was attacked by a Staffy yesterday in the park and the name tag was lost when it happened.  The Staffy’s owner was very nasty man and said that it was her fault, and he kicked her dog!!  He also called her “C-word”.  He looked like in his forties and his Staffy’s name was Max.  The man was with a woman who was just terrified to see the incident.  What sort of woman was she?  Being with such a nasty and stupid looser!!  Some people saw the incident and it seemed that nobody had never seen him in the park before.  Poor doggie’s owner called the police and they said they would find him.  Put him in jail with vicious doggies!!

When we were walking in the smaller park we saw two staffys and young boys on the bridge.  Suddenly Mr Rose laughed and said “Oh look!!  Staffies again!!” and asked them “Are they friendly? What are their names? ” with a broad smile on his face.  Young boys were saying “Yeah, they are...” and at the same time those two doggies growled and barked at us very violently, pulling their lead.  Mr Rose still laughing said “Ah, not really friendly are they?.  Bye-bye!!”.   The boys were smiling too but I was very surprised at their loud barking so I forgot to move until mummy called my name.
Anyway neither of those Staffies were “Max”.

Recently Daisy and Silky were getting on quite well.  Daisy is much bigger than Silky so when she tries to play with Silky she doesn’t really like it but they often walk, chase and sniff together, leaving me behind.

Pretty Daffodils.

It was warm and sunny today again.  There were a few people with doggies sitting on the benches in the park.
We walked through the squirrel area, and In the middle of the park I played with the green ball and Silky played with the Frisbee.  She was good at chasing the Frisbee.  She even caught it in the air.  However she didn’t know that she had to bring it back to mummy so that she could throw it for her again.  Every time Silky came back to mummy empty handed.  Mummy told her to bring it back to mummy a few times and I think she started to get the idea.
We carried on our walkies, admired a lot of daffodils and mummy took a photo of Silky and me in front of them.  Daffodils are pretty flowers aren’t they?

Again we carried on our walkies.  It was very cosy and we wanted to stay in the park all day.  It was then I felt I needed to do my business again...My poo was not really right.  I puked yesterday and this morning didn’t I?  Oh dear...why?  My tummy is very sensitive so mummy is careful, and I don’t think I ate anything different recently.  Dear dear...
I got a bit of mess in my skirt but mummy washed my bottom so I am clean girl now.  Silky was whining while I was being washed because she wanted to be washed too.  Mummy put Silky in the bathtub and washed her paws.  Silky was satisfied and now she is sleeping on the Silky area.
Now, I am having a nap-nap too and will rest my tummy.  Zzzz....

Congratulations daddy

Last night Silky and I were home alone because mummy and daddy went out for the end of year thingy for daddy’s camera club.
When they came home daddy had three posh shaped silver bowls with daddy’s name on them.  Are they for Silky and me?  One for my food, one for Silky’s food, and one for the water.  Perfect.  Now we can use silver dish.  How posh we are!!
However, it didn’t take long before I knew they weren’t for us, because daddy put them on the shelf.  What are they, daddy?
Daddy explained that they were the cups he had won in his photo club competitions.  The big one was for intermediate prints 'general', the middle one was for intermediate prints 'nature'  and the smallest one was the best, which was for the annual prints 'general' and it was for my photo from Lake District. Daddy has now been promoted to the advanced section.  I did a very good modelling job didn’t I?  Daddy, you can be my exclusive cameraman when I become a proper super model.
On the way to the park I was very slow as usual, according to mummy.  Mummy encouraged me, stroked me and pulled me.  Why didn’t she carry me today?
When we turned a corner I saw Mr Poppy 2 further ahead of us.  I have to reach him and get his tasty stroke!!
I walked very briskly and reached him at the entrance of the park.   I got very yummy and tasty stroke from Mr Poppy 2.  Why is he so tasty?
In the park I enjoyed playing with my green ball, while Silky was barking all the time when I chased the ball.  The weather was marvellous, and Silky and I were very happy walking in the park, saying hello to other doggies and having gentle pats from their mummys and daddys.  We met Hamish and also Millie who  we hadn’t met for months.  I used to snap at Millie but then we used to walk together so we are now friends.  I also used to snap at Hamish and well...I snapped at him again today because he sniffed me too much.

On our way home I met Rainbow the cat.  She lives with my favourite Lily the white cat.  Lily was there too but she went in the house and didn’t come out.  Rainbow was very friendly and smelt very attractive.  What was that smell?  I couldn’t stop sniffing her.  Rainbow’s mummy said that our mummy should get a cat.  That is a great idea, don’t you think daddy?  Silky was a bit shy with Rainbow but she had a cat friend didn’t she?  So she will be fine, you like cats, and nanny Joan likes cats.  So why not!!  I want a white one like Lily.

Small doggie heaven..

When we got in the park I started looking for squirrels while Silky was chasing pigeons.  We enjoyed this area for a while and carried on our walkies after I snapped at one doggie. I snapped three times today, I am sorry mummy but I don’t know how to stop it.

In the middle of the park I could smell my loving Mr P.  Where is he?  Where is he?
Woof!! I found him!!  We were walking the other side of the park and I shouldn’t have left my pack which is mummy and Silky, but I hadn’t seen him for a woofly long time so I had to go and see him.
I was glad I did because he called out my name and gave me a yummy treat and cuddled me.

While we were there another lady came with many small poodles and others, and it was like small doggie heaven there.  Silky and I said hello to everyone and then we followed mummy because it was getting too crowded there.

We carried on our walkies and while I was sniffing this and that, Silky was chasing a pigeon.  The pigeon flew and perched in the tree.  Can you see it?  Silky was looking up at the tree for a woofly long time and didn’t want to move.  Silky, you cannot get them because they can fly.  Try squirrels because there might be more possibility for us to catch them.

She heard my advice and when we came back to the squirrel area she chased a squirrel for the first time.  She didn’t run fast as if she wasn’t sure about it,  but I’m sure once she knows how exciting chasing squirrels is she will enjoy it.  We can work together as a team and hopefully we can catch them!!  Hmmm...daddy?  If we can catch squirrels what can we do with them?

Our lovely weekend.

Nanny Joan and granddaddy Mick came on Saturday afternoon.  Silky and I welcomed them very passionately and entertained them with our very best hospitality, such as licking them, jumping around them, wagging our tails and sitting on their laps.
We went out and walked along the river Thames.  The weather was very comfortable as if it were spring already.

After this relaxing walkies we came back to our house and I offered them my “White chocolate cheesecake with doggie food”.  Granddaddy Mick said that the cake was the best cheesecake he’d ever had!! My secret ingredient is amazing isn’t it?  It makes anything tasty.

On Sunday, we went to Runnymede park by car.  Silky was dribbling in the car even though she had taken anxiety relief thingy for car sickness.   However, once she was out of the car Silky was full of beans and ran about a lot.

Daddy wanted us to pose for him so we sat down.  But it was not enough for him.  You know, his hobby is photography so he is fussy.  He told us to look somewhere in the air.  I was good at that because I always do modelling for mummy.  However, Silky was scratching and licking her paw and didn’t pose easily.  I have to teach her about the importance and seriousness of the modelling.  Anyway we did pose for daddy in the end.  We did quite good posing didn’t we?

We had a bit of ran together and I was comfortably tired on our way back in the car.  Silky seemed to dribble again and suddenly she puked.  Oh dear...poor Silky.  Puking is really hard isn’t it?  I hope Silky can get over car sickness soon and then we can go somewhere further can’t we, daddy?  But daddy, you must try to drive gently.  You always want to drive in front of everyone don’t you?

We were knackered and slept for a while before din-dins.  Silky on the top and me on the bottom of the bunk bed.  Zzzz.....

My special recipe.

Nanny Joan and granddaddy Mick are coming tomorrow so I decided to bake a cake, white chocolate cheese cake with blueberries, to say “Thank you for looking after Silky and me”.
I put an apron which I borrowed from daddy, my hairnet to tidy my hair and washed my paws.  Now, I am ready, and my ingredients are also ready.  Cream cheese, white chocolate, egg, skimmed milk, sugar and all that.  Oh, I must use my secret ingredients as usual.  A few pieces of my doggie food and this time a few pieces of Silky’s too.
I put the cake in the oven and while I was waiting for it to be done Silky and I had a quite lively play fight.  Silky is taller than I am and has become quite powerful.  I don’t want to play rough but as a big sister I have to look after her don’t I?
Phew...play fight made me tired and messy.  Silky is relaxing on “the Silky area”  but I don’t have time to relax because I have to think what to wear tomorrow.  How about this pink flowery dress and a white ribbon on my hair?  Hmmm...I am not sure about the ribbon.  I think I should wear a hat from my new hat collection.
Oh?  The oven is calling me.  The cake is done.  Hmmm...looks good.
Daddy, you like mummy’s cheesecake don’t you?  If you try mine it will be your most favourite cheese cake in the world.  With my secret ingredients nothing can even come close.
I hope nanny Joan and granddaddy Mick will like my white chocolate cheese cake with doggie food.
