In the squirrel area in the park Silky and I saw a squirrel coming down the tree so we ran!! It was very close and exciting. We barked and jumped to get it. While we were still in the middle of the excitement, we saw a lady in red who was looking towards us. Were we that noisy???
Suddenly Silky plunged her head in a hollow. Mummy didn’t know what she was doing, she just thought she was sniffing something. Meanwhile, I kept barking towards mummy. And then mummy felt something was strange and soon she remembered that the lady puts nuts for squirrels when the weather gets
Mummy ran to Silky and saw a lot of nuts in the hollow. Silky might have eaten some of them, oh dear....
Actually everyone, I was barking to tell mummy about it but she thought I was barking for at squirrels!! She should have listened to me properly, shouldn’t she?
On our way home we knocked at the door of our neighbour to see a new puppy. She is a 12-week old Chorkie girl. Silky and I took a small pressie for her to say hello. She is pretty isn’t she? Her name is Daisy. Hmmm...another “Daisy” for me. Daisy the poodle was as mad as usual and she danced and jumped around me as she does every time she sees me. I barked and snapped at her but I think Daisy the poodle is enjoying to see me upset.
Daddy, what time are you coming home? As usual?
When you sit on this sofa I like perching on your shoulder telling you about my day and licking your face. That is my golden hour of the night. I think my licking skill is advanced now so I can say I am your personal facial beautician can’t I? Anyway, I am waiting for you here.
