We went to the park around lunch time so it was fairly quiet. We ran and chased birds, and also we played with the ball. Silky is very good at bringing back the ball now, daddy.
Gradually more doggies appeared, and we saw a Bull terrier puppy dashing towards us so mummy put the lead on me. He was a Bull Terrier and puppy so even though I tried to avoid him he tried to get me. Why are they like that? I don’t want them near me!!!
Mummy said “I’m sorry but MY DOG isn’t very friendly”. Then a man looked at mummy saying “He ain’t unfriendly.” The other woman also said “Yeah, he is friendly. He is a puppy.” HELLO???
Mummy got irritated because while they were saying this nonsense the puppy kept coming to me with noisy snort. Mummy said “MINE isn’t friendly!” loudly and then they said “Ah”, took the puppy and went. This kind of thing had happened a few times. This means that those doggie’s owner themselves think that Bull type doggies are unfriendly without being told so, don’t they? Even though mummy doesn’t like Bull type doggies very much she wouldn’t say “Your dog is unfriendly” would she? Listen properly, will you?
After we left the park a Jack Russell type doggie came out of someone’s front garden and followed us. Mummy took him and knocked the door but nobody answered. Hmmm...what shall we do about him? He wandered off again so mummy called him to stop. Maybe this isn’t his house but what can we do? RSPCA?
Then my favourite Mrs P came out of her house with Jessie, so mummy called out and asked if she knew about this doggie.
However she didn’t know. The doggie didn’t have a name tag or anything. Poor doggie.
We asked the doggie where his house was but he didn’t know. Then luckily we saw two police officers walking so we stopped them. Mrs P said that she could drive him to the police station but they said the police station in the high street is closed today. Is it a shop or something? Police station, closed? Strange isn’t it?
Anyway, one of the officers knocked a few doors down and one lady knew who’s doggie he was. We took the doggie to the owner and it seemed that the gate for the garden was open.
Because of this doggie rescue our walk was more than 2 hours today, so I am very tired. Now I have a late nap nap, daddy.
