We arrived at the park around 12. 30 pm and hardly saw anyone. Everyone was having lunch lunch weren’t they? We played with our ball and Frisbee, Silky barked a lot with excitement but nobody burst in today, that meant I didn’t have to snap at anyone. Very peaceful walk.
When we played enough we sat down and enjoyed the breeze. I wish we could have a garden the size of the park, daddy. Then I don’t have to walk there everyday do I?
I saw an elderly couple in the park. They were not with dogs but once I saw them I knew they liked me, so I went over to say hello. The lady stroked me and we had a little chat. I don’t know why but I love elderly people and they love me too. Our feelings are always mutual.
I am interested in being a therapy dog. Recently I got some information about it from my friend Barney’s mummy and she recommended me to do it.
But not now, because if I took mummy to work Silky would have to stay home on her own. It wouldn’t be fair for her would it? Anyway my first dream is to be a top model and a superstar, so I should concentrate on them for now. I can try the therapy doggie thing in future with Silky can’t I, daddy? We might become popular therapy doggie sisters mightn’t we?
When mummy came back from shopping Silky was sitting with mummy’s slipper. It happens quite often. If it is not mummy’s slipper it is a kitchen cloth or an oven glove, or all of them.
Mummy took her slipper, went in the living room and found mummy’s other slipper, a kitchen cloth and an oven glove all together on the floor. Silky knows she shouldn’t have done that so when mummy pointed at them she couldn’t look at her. You know, it was just like my “I’ve been naughty” face.
Silky found a colourful sock too, which was on the floor from the previous night. Daddy, it is yours isn’t it? Why was it there? Tut-tut...
