On our way to the park I stopped at Lady I’s gate to ask her if she wanted to come to the park with me. However, it seemed that she wasn’t at home. I think she had gone to Tesco’s daddy, because mummy said that she often saw Lady I in Tesco’s on Tuesdays.
It was very quiet when we got to the park. I was enjoying myself and then I noticed my friends ,Sammy and Peewee, came in from the other side of the park. We said hello and walked together.
Then we saw something very big and white. What is it? It looks like a Polar bear. Silky was excited because she had never seen polar bears. Well, I haven’t. Have you, daddy?
We went closer and found out that it was a big doggie, Shiba the Samoyed. There was another big one which was Samoyed and Border Collie cross whose name was Jasper. They were very big and I felt as though I was a mouse. I had to show I was a big and strong girl didn’t I? That was why when they came to me I snapped. Mummy didn’t like it but their daddy didn’t mind.
Silky is always quite friendly so she went to them to say hello and sniffed around together, while I was standing just beside mummy all the time. Their daddy said that Shiba and Jasper had been to Canada to take part in a sledge race. That is cool, isn’t it daddy?
After we said bye-bye to Shiba and Jasper, we carried on with Sammy and Peewee and met Fudge the Shihtzu. I hadn’t met him before so I was going to say “How do you do” in very elegant and ladylike way but once his face came very close to mine I lost it and snapped at him. Again Silky was very sociable and introduce herself to him very amicably, so he offered his water to Silky. I was a bit thirsty so felt slightly jealous about it, but I was very polite to his mummy so she offered me a bowl of water. But you know me daddy, don’t you? I didn’t drink it.
On our way home I was very thirsty so tried to drink a bit of water in the river but the place I stood was a bit high for me to reach the water. And then I noticed that mummy and Silky had already crossed the small bridge. I followed them and got the other side of the river. Well, this side was much better!! I got in the water a little and cooled my paws. Silky did the same so we got very muddy paws.
After mummy washed our paws we had lunch lunch. Now I am off to my lovely nap nap.
