I went to the vet this morning to have an x-ray. My turn was early so I was done before 11 am. Where are mummy and daddy?
Around lunch time my favourite vet Andy came to me saying mummy and daddy would come to collect me at 5.15 pm.
NO WAY!! Why do I have to wait such a long time? I want to go home. I have things to do, you know, daily chores such as nap nap, snack snack and all that. Andy is a very good person so he said he would call my mummy to come earlier.
Andy came back to me and said mummy would come soon.
The result of x-ray was good. He didnt see anything wrong in the x-ray photos. However when he touched around my neck I still didn’t like it so he would e-mail my x-ray to a specialist to get a second opinion. In the meantime, I will keep taking Metacam and see Andy next week again. I really really hope that the specialist will say everything is fine.
When I saw mummy I cried and cried. She stroked me but that wasn’t enough. When we left the vet it started raining and it got heavier soon. Mummy carried me and held the umbrella all the way to the station. She is strong isn’t she? I was very comfortable in her arms. On the train mummy put me on the seat but I wanted to be on mummy’s lap. She felt it and let me sit on her lap. When we got our station the rain was extremely heavy. Again mummy carried me and held her umbrella all the way to our house. Mummy said it was good exercise for her arms.
The cost for the x-ray was about £260. It is expensive isn’t it? But daddy said I was worth it. Mummy and daddy love me don’t they?
At the vet I didn’t sleep after I came out of the anaesthetic because I wanted to go home and was crying. Now I am very sleepy so don’t disturb me, Silky.
